Senior Offshore Interface Engineer

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Interface Engineer to lead the coordination of technical and operational interfaces on offshore construction projects. The role ensures seamless collaboration among engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams while maintaining compliance with project specifications and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Identify, track, and resolve interface issues at the offshore site.
• Maintain interface registers, action logs, and progress reports.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with contractors and project teams.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, schedules, and HSE requirements.
• Escalate interface risks and support timely technical decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction, including at least 5 years in a lead role.
• At least 5 years of offshore experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
• Familiarity with international standards; experience on PMC and EPC offshore projects preferred.
• Previous experience on ADNOC projects is an advantage.
