Senior Offshore Structural Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Designer to join Technip Energies in Abu Dhabi. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, you will lead the development of offshore structural designs for oil and gas projects across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D offshore structural models for jackets, topsides, decks, flare towers, bridges, modules, pipe racks, monopods and other support structures.
• Prepare structural layouts, general arrangement drawings, detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and generate connection details.
• Produce material take‑offs, weight reports and maintain models throughout project execution.
• Review and self‑check all GA, structural plans, elevation, shop, erection and as‑built drawings to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate design changes with structural engineers and interface with piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil and marine disciplines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary model reviews and ensure interdisciplinary checking of deliverables.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience in offshore structural design for oil and gas projects.
• Ability to work on Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, brownfield and modification phases.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements.
