Senior Offshore Structural Designer

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Designer to join its Abu Dhabi team. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will develop and coordinate offshore structural design and drafting deliverables across all project phases, from concept to EPC and modification.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D offshore structural models for jackets, topsides, decks, flare towers, bridges, modules, pipe racks, monopods and other support structures.
• Prepare structural layouts, general arrangement drawings, detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and produce material take‑offs and weight reports.
• Review and self‑check all GA, structural, fabrication, erection and as‑built drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and international codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, marine) and with fabrication yards to resolve design issues.
• Support project execution by meeting design schedule, assisting in engineering estimates, and incorporating client comments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of offshore structural design and drafting experience in oil & gas, covering FEED, detailed engineering, EPC and brownfield projects.
• Proven experience with offshore platforms, jackets, topsides and related structures; ADNOC project experience preferred.
