Senior Personal Banker – Loans (Dubai)

About the role

The Senior Personal Banker will join Mashreq’s retail banking team in Dubai, focusing on loan products and driving sales growth. The role involves prospecting, presenting banking solutions, and managing customer relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for personal banking and loan products.
• Prospect targeted customer segments through phone calls and face‑to‑face visits.
• Present and sell the full range of personal banking products and services ethically and professionally.
• Manage a portfolio of approved companies, developing key contacts and relationships.
• Conduct micro‑marketing activities, including kiosk events and direct marketing.
• Handle objections to secure product uptake or payroll transfers.
• Ensure end‑to‑end customer turnaround time meets quality guidelines and record all activities in daily sales reports and the CRM system.
• Maintain strict compliance with bank policies, KYC, FATCA, AML, CTF and third‑party channel interactions.
• Participate in team activities, training sessions, compliance and fraud trainings, and rewards celebrations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail banking.
• Basic knowledge of retail banking products, service policies and compliance requirements (KYC, FATCA, AML, CTF).
• Ability to assist customers in achieving their financial objectives with courteous and accurate service.
• Honest assistance to customers, keeping promises within service delivery standards.
• Completion of mandatory compliance, fraud and governance training.
