Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the development and control of project schedules for complex construction and engineering programmes in Dubai. The role combines schedule creation, progress monitoring, and cost‑control activities to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, sequencing, phasing and logistics in coordination with senior leadership.
• Monitor and analyse project progress, cost data, productivity and earned‑value metrics, reporting performance against approved plans.
• Review contractor work programmes, verify actual progress and assess schedule compliance and delays.
• Maintain schedule updates in Primavera, support delay analysis, change‑order and Extension‑of‑Time evaluations.
• Track cost plans and cash‑flows, consolidating results into monthly consultant and project control reports.
• Prepare and report KPIs, project metrics and risk‑related inputs appropriate to the project stage.
• Coordinate long‑lead item schedules and support procurement tracking with contractors and suppliers.
• Participate in contract administration, project meetings and monthly reporting activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project planning and control within construction or engineering environments.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex schedule data.
• Strong analytical skills for cost, productivity and earned‑value analysis.
