Senior Planning Engineer – Offshore FEED Projects

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Planning Engineer will be based in the client office and will lead schedule development during the FEED phase of an offshore oil & gas project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed FEED project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Create a Work Breakdown Structure aligned with project scope and define milestones, critical paths, and deliverable timelines.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, and interface activities into a master schedule.
• Monitor progress against baseline, perform critical‑path analysis, and flag deviations.
• Prepare mitigation and recovery plans to keep the project on track.
• Review EPC contractor schedules for compliance with ADNOC standards.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and client stakeholders.
• Identify schedule risks, conduct qualitative/quantitative analysis, and support contingency planning.

Required profile

• Significant experience in planning and scheduling offshore oil & gas projects, preferably during FEED.
• Strong understanding of WBS creation, milestone definition, and critical‑path management.
• Ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary engineering, procurement, cost, risk, and HSE teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for reporting to senior stakeholders.
