Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will work within the Core Engineering Team or a Project Management Team (PMT) on major oil and gas or petrochemical projects. Reporting to a Lead Process Engineer, the role includes supervising process engineers, delegating tasks, and ensuring high‑quality FEED deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Control day‑to‑day activities of FEED engineers, including process simulations, PFD and P&ID preparation.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, line and centrifugal pump sizing, and heat and material balances.
• Review and comment on FEED deliverables, ensuring timely resolution and implementation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align engineering outputs with project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years in process engineering for large oil, gas or petrochemical projects.
• Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and related procedures is beneficial.
• BSc in Chemical, Process, Gas or Oil Engineering and membership in a relevant professional body.
