Senior Program Manager, Product Safety & Compliance

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead product safety and compliance across the Africa, Middle East, and Turkey (AMET) region. Based in Dubai, you will own the regional safety risk posture, ensuring Amazon’s policies align with local regulations while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional product safety risk and guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements across Amazon’s supply and customer operations.
• Lead the review and localisation of validation processes for newly onboarded, highly regulated products.
• Collaborate with external regulatory authorities to design and implement safety schemes for AMET stores.
• Drive resolution of safety issues from customer complaints, reviews, internal actions, and external recall requests.
• Design, implement, and maintain safety processes that integrate with cross‑functional teams and classification databases.
• Assess regional risk and apply proportionate risk‑reduction measures for high‑risk product categories.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proven experience in program or compliance management within a regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across legal, business, technology, and external regulator teams.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions while balancing safety and business objectives.
