Senior Program Manager – Product Safety & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead product safety and compliance across the Africa, Middle East and Turkey (AMET) region. Based in Dubai, you will own the regional risk posture, ensuring Amazon’s safety policies meet local regulations while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional product safety risk and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across Amazon’s supply and customer operations in AMET.
• Lead the review and localization of validation processes for newly onboarded, highly regulated products.
• Collaborate with external regulatory authorities to design and implement safety schemes for Amazon stores.
• Drive resolution of safety issues from customer complaints, reviews, internal actions, and external recall requests.
• Design, implement and maintain product safety processes that integrate with cross‑functional teams and classification databases.
• Assess regional risk and apply proportionate risk‑reduction measures for high‑risk product categories.
• Work across selling partner, legal, business, and technology teams to deliver end‑to‑end safety solutions.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Extensive experience in program or product safety management, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments in the AMET region.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and external authorities.
