Senior Project Development Engineer

About the role

Daikin Middle East & Africa is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer to lead HVAC equipment selection and technical coordination for complex projects across the region. You will act as the primary technical liaison between clients, internal teams, and manufacturing partners, ensuring optimal solutions and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client inquiries and project requirements to recommend appropriate chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VRV systems.
• Prepare detailed costing, pricing, and technical quotations.
• Coordinate technical discussions, submittals, and compliance statements with contractors and factories.
• Maintain project data in CRM software and generate regular status reports.
• Support non‑standard specifications, perform energy and heat‑load calculations, and provide technical guidance to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Application Engineer in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, engineering drawings, and psychometric charts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
