Senior Project Engineer (EPC)

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join its on‑shore mega EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will focus on the full project lifecycle, from construction through commissioning, start‑up and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of EPC project execution on‑shore, ensuring alignment with design and schedule.
• Oversee construction activities, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and handover to the client.
• Manage instrumentation and control (I&C) systems throughout the project.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas construction project execution, preferably on mega on‑shore EPC projects.
• Proven hands‑on experience across all project phases, including construction, commissioning, start‑up and handover.
• Strong background in instrumentation and control (I&C) systems.
