Senior Project Engineer – Relay & Control Panels

About the role

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the execution of electrical panel projects for its Relay & Control Panels Manufacturing division. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while supporting junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute projects according to contracts, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Review and finalize single line diagrams (SLDs), general arrangement (GA), wiring and schematic diagrams.
• Prepare material bills of quantities (BOQs), approve bills of materials (BOMs) and assist procurement planning.
• Monitor fabrication, busbar assembly, wiring, and testing activities.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and resolve punch‑list items.
• Track project milestones, manage scope changes and ensure contractual compliance.
• Maintain quality, test and project documentation and act as the single point of contact for clients, consultants and vendors.
• Facilitate dispatch readiness, progress certification and invoicing.
• Mentor and train junior project engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in electrical panel manufacturing.
• Experience with utilities or oil & gas projects is a plus.
