Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead facilities and infrastructure projects for Wasael Property Management in Abu Dhabi, ensuring delivery within time, budget, quality, and safety standards. This role oversees multiple concurrent projects from planning through handover, supporting 24/7 operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple facilities and infrastructure projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and prepare documentation such as scopes, specifications, and tender documents.
• Monitor contractor performance, manage risks, and resolve technical or commercial issues.
• Support procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HS&E requirements, permits, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor KPIs, and provide regular status updates and performance reports.
• Contribute to PMO framework development, reporting systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field.
• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in senior project management, delivering facilities or infrastructure projects in large‑scale, operationally critical environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and contractor teams.
