Senior Project Manager – Substations & Power Infrastructure

About the role

Linesight is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high‑voltage substation and power infrastructure projects across the UAE. You will guide culturally diverse teams, ensure safe onsite practices, and act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Visible onsite leadership, monitoring progress and enforcing safe work practices.
• Coordinate snagging activities with client, consultant and contractor teams, managing schedules and partner engagement.
• Proactively identify issues and drive effective resolutions.
• Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with clients for continuous improvement.
• Lead and attend critical meetings, communicate impacts and collaborate on problem‑solving.
• Ensure project procedures are consistently applied throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience delivering complex electrical/power infrastructure projects, with a strong track record in substation delivery.
• Extensive experience with HV/EHV substations, grid connections, and transmission/distribution infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle—from design and procurement to construction, testing, energisation and handover.
• GCC/Middle East experience, including working with local utilities, authorities and approval processes.
• Proven contractor and consultant management skills, driving programme, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
• Strong programme and project‑control awareness, including schedule, risk, change, procurement and reporting.
