Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance for a national digital‑innovation initiative delivering secure, high‑performance technology solutions across financial and government ecosystems in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional and non‑functional requirements for digital platforms.
• Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium and PyTest.
• Perform advanced manual testing to uncover defects in complex financial solutions.
• Conduct performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter) to validate reliability, scalability and responsiveness.
• Implement and enforce QA processes, standards and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead defect management by collaborating with engineering teams to track, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6–7 years of professional experience in QA engineering or software testing.
• Strong manual testing expertise and hands‑on experience with automation frameworks.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
