Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement, and supporting safe, flawless project delivery across complex engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
• Implement the Quality Management Plan and oversee its execution on site.
• Coordinate multi‑discipline Quality Control Inspectors, schedule meetings and align on project quality goals.
• Monitor contractor QA/QC activities, manage documentation, and support document control.
• Conduct inspections according to the Inspection and Test Plan, raise punch‑list items and support pre‑commissioning activities.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, Five‑Why studies and other continual‑improvement techniques.
• Collaborate with Construction Leads and Project Engineers to resolve quality issues and keep schedules on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering within EPCM or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards, inspection procedures and contract documentation.
• Ability to lead and coordinate inspection teams and manage stakeholder communication.
• Experience with HSE initiatives and Goal Zero participation is advantageous.
