Senior Resident Engineer

About the role

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision and construction activities for high‑end residential projects, including luxury villas and residential towers, in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest quality standards and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day site supervision and construction activities on building, luxury villa, and residential tower projects.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly.
• Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, material approvals, and inspection requests.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai authority requirements, HSE standards, quality control procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare regular site reports, progress updates, and provide technical guidance to the project team.
• Identify construction risks and support timely resolution of technical and site‑related challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, with extensive background in building construction, luxury villas, and high‑rise residential towers.
• Strong consultant‑side experience managing contractors and site teams.
• Deep knowledge of construction practices, quality control, and Dubai regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
