Senior S3D Tool Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior S3D Tool Administrator to join Technip Energies in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Head of Department and works closely with project engineering and information management teams on FEED/EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain the S3D application server and client environments.
• Create, customize and administer S3D sites, plants and catalogs, including batch server, name generator, IFC server and clash rules.
• Develop and deploy custom symbols, name rules and drawing/report templates using Visual Studio.
• Provide multi‑discipline user support, training and troubleshooting for S3D users.
• Integrate S3D with SmartPlant Foundation and manage data flow across engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with SP tool administrators, discipline leads and project managers to ensure consistent data standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, or related).
• 13‑16 years of experience in S3D administration and customization on FEED/EPC projects.
• Proven experience customizing S3D with .NET (VB, C#) and Visual Studio.
• Strong knowledge of engineering data flow in multi‑discipline projects.
• Experience with pipe support and symbol customization.
