Senior S3D Tool Administrator

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a Senior S3D Tool Administrator to join its Abu Dhabi team. Reporting to the Head of Department and the Project Engineering Manager, the role focuses on installation, customization, management and training of the S3D engineering platform for FEED/EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure S3D application servers, clients and related services (Batch Server, Name Generator, IFC server, clash rules, etc.).
• Create, customize and administer S3D sites, plants, catalogs and multi‑discipline support libraries using Visual Studio.
• Develop and maintain custom symbols, drawing, report and label templates for pipe support and other disciplines.
• Provide user support, training and troubleshooting for S3D and SmartPlant Foundation environments.
• Prepare project procedures, PBS structures and manage data hand‑over, audits and client reviews.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with 13‑16 years of experience in S3D administration and customization.
• Proven experience customizing S3D using .NET languages (VB, C#) and Visual Studio.
• Strong knowledge of engineering data flow in multi‑discipline FEED/EPC projects.
• Experience with pipe‑support customization, symbol creation and SmartPlant Foundation publishing.
• Familiarity with Smart P&ID and AVEVA E3D is a plus.
