Senior Sales Engineer – Aftermarket Modernization

About the role

Carrier is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead its HVAC aftermarket modernization business in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on identifying, developing and closing retrofit projects that replace aging equipment with high‑efficiency, sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities across assigned markets.
• Conduct site visits, assess existing equipment condition and develop value‑based technical solutions.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering, service and operations teams.
• Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to order closure.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and achieve annual revenue and margin targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC sales, aftermarket or retrofit projects.
• Strong technical understanding of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and control systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English; based in Abu Dhabi with a valid UAE driving licence and own car.
