Senior Sales Manager – Group & Catering

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the acquisition and management of large group and catering opportunities for Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on driving revenue, upselling services, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and manage high‑value group and catering accounts.
• Handle opportunities not processed by the Event Booking Center.
• Upsell packages and creative food‑and‑beverage options to maximise revenue.
• Achieve personal and team revenue targets.
• Ensure timely turnover of business for proper service delivery.
• Build customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Partner with internal counterparts to develop and execute sales plans.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and economic factors to inform sales strategy.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with property needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or related fields, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management (no experience required).
• Strong understanding of hospitality group and catering markets.
