Senior Site Architect

About the role

The Senior Site Architect will lead the architectural supervision team on large‑scale construction projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Resident Engineer, you will act as the technical authority for all architectural works during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent inspections of architectural works and verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Manage contractor performance, address non‑conformities and enforce quality standards.
• Support the Resident Engineer in technical decision‑making and overall project delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior architects, engineers and site inspectors.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants and client representatives to resolve design and construction issues.
• Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, authority requirements and statutory regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑graduate experience in architectural site supervision.
• At least 5 years of UAE/GCC experience on large‑scale commercial, residential, hospitality or mixed‑use projects.
• Experience within an engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes and authority requirements.
• Professional registration is desirable.
