Senior Site Engineer (Structures)

About the role

AESG is seeking a Senior Site Engineer – Structures to lead the structural construction activities on major projects across the UAE. The role will act as the technical authority for all structural works, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and local codes while supporting the Resident Engineer in delivering high‑quality, safe, and on‑time outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all structural construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and UAE building codes.
• Monitor contractor performance, conduct site inspections and approve temporary works.
• Mentor junior engineers and inspectors, providing technical guidance and resolving on‑site issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality, safety and programme targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years post‑graduate experience in structural site supervision, including at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC on large‑scale building projects.
• Experience within an engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Professional registration or Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
