Senior SOC Analyst

About the role

ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC is expanding its Managed Security Services and seeks a Senior SOC Analyst to join its Security Operations Centre. This L3‑level position will own complex alert investigations, lead incident response, and drive proactive threat hunting across multiple customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth triage, investigation and analysis of security alerts across various SIEM platforms.
• Act as the L3 escalation point for high‑severity incidents raised by L1/L2 analysts.
• Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, recovery and post‑incident review.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence and customer‑specific risk profiles.
• Develop, tune and optimise SIEM detection rules, correlation logic and alert thresholds.
• Create and maintain SOC runbooks and incident‑response playbooks.
• Produce comprehensive incident reports for technical and business audiences.
• Mentor L1 and L2 analysts through technical coaching and case reviews.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in a SOC or security‑operations environment.
• Hands‑on experience at L3 level with complex alert investigation and incident response.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑customer MSSP setting and handle shift‑based onsite duties.
• Reports to the SOC Team Lead and serves as an escalation point for junior staff.
