Senior SOC Analyst

About the role

Deriv is building an autonomous security operations platform that proactively hunts threats, automatically responds, and continuously learns. As a Senior SOC Analyst you will be at the forefront of this effort, turning noisy alerts into actionable intelligence and preventing incidents before they impact traders and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively hunt across infrastructure, cloud, identity, and endpoint environments using hypothesis‑driven investigations.
• Design, tune, and maintain detections mapped to real attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK).
• Analyze and triage alerts, distinguishing noise from genuine threats in real time.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed AI and automation into detection and response workflows.
• Identify blind‑spots and exclusion gaps before they become incidents.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in security operations or SOC environments.
• Comfort with long periods of disciplined alert handling and rapid response when a true incident emerges.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently under pressure.

• SIEM platforms and rule development.
