Senior Specialist – Work Placement

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Work Placement will support the development and execution of employment opportunities for students at the campus. This role collaborates closely with faculty, academic advisors, and the Outreach and Engagement team to ensure smooth placement processes throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of annual plans to expand employment opportunities for students.
• Maintain and communicate an up‑to‑date calendar of work placement events and career fairs.
• Liaise with faculty members, Academic Advisors and Outreach & Engagement to implement placement plans effectively.
• Assist in scheduling on‑campus recruitment events.
• Develop promotional materials in partnership with Outreach & Engagement to raise awareness of placement opportunities.
• Implement work‑experience orientations and workshops for students.
• Monitor student placements throughout the academic year to ensure compliance with schedules.
• Arrange employer interviews for students promptly.
• Provide continuous guidance to students from interview to internship completion.
• Supply employers with necessary student information and documentation.
• Maintain a comprehensive, up‑to‑date database of employer and student placement data.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration).
• Full proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Intermediate computer literacy, such as MS Office.
• At least four years of experience in work placement or a related field.
