About the role

Join BuroHappold’s Dubai office as a Senior Structural Engineer, focusing on forensic investigations of structural failures. You will work on high‑profile projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable, and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of structural failures and damage.
• Perform detailed site inspections to assess structural integrity.
• Analyse components and systems to identify root causes of failures.
• Prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for remedial works.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Develop and supervise testing procedures and protocols.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers in forensic investigation techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional engineering licence (ICE, PE or equivalent) preferred.
• Significant experience in structural engineering and forensic investigations.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
