Senior Structural Engineer - Site

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead site supervision for large‑scale building projects in Dubai. You will ensure successful project delivery while meeting quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all structural and civil engineering activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and codes.
• Conduct detailed inspections, quality audits, and testing to verify workmanship and material compliance.
• Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and construction methodologies before implementation.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve design queries and site challenges.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in senior site supervision.
• Proven ability to manage complex high‑rise, commercial, or mixed‑use projects and familiarity with international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and UAE regulations.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer certification preferred; PMP certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• STAAD Pro, SAP2000 or equivalent structural analysis software.
• AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and BIM (Revit/Navisworks) capabilities.
• Complex steel connections design and concrete structures supervision.
• Project management tools such as MS Office and Primavera.
