Senior Technician, Mechanical Maintenance (Static) (ST/DGD)

About the role

As a Senior Technician in Mechanical Maintenance (Static) you will be responsible for hands‑on maintenance, inspection and repair of static equipment across ADNOC offshore facilities. The role supports shutdowns, commissioning and start‑up activities while ensuring safety, reliability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on vessels, tanks, columns, exchangers and associated piping.
• Carry out inspections, gasket replacement, bolt tightening, leak repair, flange management and nozzle replacement.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble and test equipment such as air coolers, strainers, filters, receivers and pig traps.
• Support integrity inspections, thickness checks and confined‑space entry for internal examinations of vessels and columns.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in commissioning and start‑up of new static equipment, review documentation and ensure compliance before hand‑over.
• Execute predictive and preventive maintenance tasks including temperature readings, leak detection, basic vibration checks, lubrication and structural inspections.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in mechanical maintenance of static equipment.
• Strong safety commitment and ability to work in confined spaces.
• Proven capability to mentor junior technicians and act as a senior technical resource.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, vendor manuals and project documentation.
