Senior Technician Production Testing

About the role

POWERTECH is looking for a hands‑on Senior Technician to lead production testing activities for aerospace and engine components. You will operate in‑line and end‑of‑line test stations, ensure product compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with the Senior Production Test Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Set up units under test, operate test rigs, control‑room systems and approved test sequences.
• Perform in‑line and end‑of‑line acceptance tests, verify results against defined limits and record data accurately.
• Conduct first‑line troubleshooting of test stations and units, escalating issues when necessary.
• Lead a team of two technicians, assign daily tasks, provide training and monitor workload balance.
• Maintain equipment, fixtures, instrumentation and consumables in calibrated condition.
• Record test results, serial numbers and discrepancies to ensure traceability.
• Support root‑cause analysis, continuous improvement and introduction of new test equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience operating production test stations in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising a small technical team.
• Background in aerospace, automotive, engine/turbine testing or high‑volume production preferred.
• Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings and acceptance criteria.
