Server – Upscale Hotel & Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a professional Server to join our vibrant team at the 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai. You will deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a 5-star hotel environment, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, professional service for all food and beverage offerings in line with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
• Support the Supervisor in achieving service quality and guest-satisfaction targets.
• Act as the liaison between kitchen and service team to guarantee timely and accurate order delivery.
• Maintain a strong floor presence, anticipate guest needs, and handle inquiries, comments or complaints with a solutions-focused approach.
• Use the Micros POS system for order taking, billing, and cash/credit transactions following company procedures.
• Monitor product quality, report inconsistencies, and apply upselling techniques to maximise revenue.
• Assist with inventory checks, stock storage, and support bar operations when required.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings, team meetings and training sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest service excellence.
• Excellent communication, a polished appearance and the ability to build rapport with regular guests.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems, specifically Micros.
