About the role
Acts as liaison between customers and the service department, communicating vehicle problems, repair timelines, and customer concerns while delivering exemplary customer service and a sales‑minded attitude.
Key responsibilities
- Advise customers on additional necessary repairs beyond the reported fault and provide cost estimates.
- Maintain a daily register of vehicle bookings, track delivery times, and arrange LPOs while closing job cards promptly.
- Conduct test drives to assess complaints, complete T‑Cards with job details, estimates, and delivery dates considering parts availability and manpower.
- Obtain quotation approvals, coordinate with the control room, and ensure repairs are completed per job card before the committed delivery time.
- Communicate repair recommendations in layman's terms to customers and brief technicians on customer needs, managing repair schedules.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Service Advisor in the automobile industry.
