Service Sales Engineer

About the role

The Service Sales Engineer will support Otis’s service sales operations in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on estimating, preparing and negotiating maintenance contracts, and driving contract recovery. The role ensures accurate tracking of the sales pipeline through the MIS system and adheres to company policies and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management information and insights on work‑area performance for decision‑making.
• Prepare maintenance contracts, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements under the guidance of the Service Sales Manager.
• Generate estimates and quotations for repairs, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Negotiate contract renewals, addressing client risks and ensuring compliance with special contract requirements.
• Execute sales strategies to recover lost units and pursue favorable recovery terms.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and needs assessment.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket and Service departments to implement contract terms.
• Assist Finance with timely payment collection based on contract agreements.
• Update and report on the maintenance contracts database in the MIS system.
• Ensure all sales operations comply with quality procedures and ISO policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years (60 months) relevant experience in elevator or escalator service sales, contract preparation and negotiation.
