Service Technician – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

Otis is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of elevators and escalators through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
• Perform repairs and component replacements on elevators and escalators.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Otis standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• ITI, Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or B.Tech.
• 5–8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
