Services Commercial Operations Engineer

About the role

The Services Commercial Operations Engineer supports GE Vernova’s Services activities across Africa and the Middle East, developing commercial offers, negotiating with clients and collaborating with sales and engineering teams to win orders. The role is customer‑facing and operates within a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commercial tasks related to service offers together with application engineers and sales managers.
• Review, redline and negotiate customer terms and conditions and other commercial documents.
• Develop commercial offers following the internal offer review process.
• Coordinate the preparation of risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal risk review.
• Negotiate with clients, present offers to internal risk review, and work with sales managers to secure orders.

• Customer‑facing professional responsible for winning business.
• Significant control and influence over commercial priorities.
• Moderate autonomy to enter and execute commercial arrangements.
• High level of commercial judgement to achieve required outcomes.
