Services Specialist - Wireline

About the role

Join Baker Hughes’ Wireline Team in Dubai, delivering cutting‑edge well construction and production solutions. As a Services Specialist – Wireline you will support field operations, ensuring tools and equipment are ready, safe and efficiently deployed.

Key responsibilities

• Execute wireline operations in line with technical programs, safety standards and customer requirements.
• Verify tools are fit‑for‑job before deployment and ensure proper hand‑over after operations.
• Prepare, assemble and function‑test downhole tools, providing real‑time operational support during jobs.
• Support equipment readiness by identifying issues early and coordinating with the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate job reports and update equipment status throughout the project.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in wireline field operations (open‑hole, cased‑hole, Sondex tools).
• Basic maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Sondex tools (highly desirable).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related technical discipline.
• Familiarity with Job Center/field reporting systems; basic SAP exposure optional.
• Strong safety mindset, ability to work under pressure in remote/rig environments and effective communication at wellsite.
