Site Engineer – Fit-Out Projects

About the role

A leading Tier 1 fit‑out contractor in Dubai is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the technical delivery and coordination of fit‑out works, ensuring projects meet quality, programme and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day technical management of fit‑out works on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure correct delivery.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site progress against the approved programme.
• Carry out regular site inspections and enforce quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions and technical approvals.
• Assist with setting out and ensure works follow approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports and inspection records.
• Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager to deliver the project.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of site engineering experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong background in interior fit‑out, refurbishment or high‑end commercial/residential projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades on site.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and quality control procedures.
• Effective communication and coordination skills in a fast‑paced environment.
