Site Inspector – Architecture (Dubai)

About the role

The Site Inspector – Architecture will carry out on‑site inspections of architectural works throughout the construction phase, ensuring that all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and relevant codes. Reporting to the Senior Site Engineer – Architecture, the role supports the delivery of high‑quality workmanship on commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of architectural elements such as walls, ceilings, partitions, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, roofing, glazing, joinery and façade works.
• Verify that delivered materials match approved submittals and project specifications.
• Identify and document non‑conformances, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary supervision teams.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Building Codes, project specifications and contract clauses.
• Assist the Senior Site Engineer in maintaining quality standards and project schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in architectural site supervision.
• At least 3 years experience on construction projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Experience within an engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy is preferred.
• Good understanding of UAE Building Codes and construction practices.
• Exposure to commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed‑use or high‑rise developments.
• Professional membership is desirable but not essential.
