Site Inspector – Structures

About the role

The Site Inspector – Structures will carry out inspections of structural works during construction to ensure they meet approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes and quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Site Engineer – Structures, the role supports the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and compliant building projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect structural construction activities on‑site and verify compliance with engineering documentation.
• Identify non‑conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and consultants.
• Monitor adherence to UAE Building Codes, structural standards and project specifications.
• Document inspection findings, prepare reports and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary supervision teams to ensure consistent workmanship.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in structural site supervision.
• At least 3 years experience on UAE/GCC building projects.
• Experience in an engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel and foundation construction.
