Site Supervisor – Steel Structure

About the role

GST International is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead steel structure erection and installation on projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety standards while meeting project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily steel structure erection, installation and related site activities.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor site workers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations and company policies.
• Review structural and shop drawings, method statements and technical documents before execution.
• Plan daily activities and allocate manpower, materials and equipment efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants and clients to resolve site issues.
• Inspect completed work for quality and specification compliance.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE procedures.
• Support project completion, snagging, handover and final inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in steel structure projects and site supervision.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Strong background in structural steel erection and installation.
