Skilled Carpenter – Property Management

About the role

Al Saqer Property Management is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its facilities team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of various structures and fixtures across residential, commercial, and retail properties.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or other materials using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install frameworks, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other components.
• Install or repair building fixtures such as windows, stairs, and mouldings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to meet project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and time spent on each project.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of carpentry experience in a facilities or property‑maintenance environment.
• Vocational certification or apprenticeship in carpentry.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Required skills

• Blueprint interpretation.
• Measuring and cutting wood and metal.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders).
• Framework assembly and fixture installation.
• Health and safety compliance.
