SOC Team Lead – Managed Security Services

About the role

The SOC Team Lead will head the Security Operations Centre for ITHR’s Managed Security Services portfolio across the UAE and the Middle East. This senior, hands‑on position combines technical expertise with people leadership to ensure high‑quality threat detection, investigation, and response for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of L1, L2 and L3 SOC analysts, managing shift coverage and performance.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for high‑severity and complex security incidents.
• Oversee threat detection, alert triage, investigation and incident response activities while staying actively involved in analysis.
• Drive threat‑hunting initiatives to uncover indicators of compromise, attacker persistence and lateral movement.
• Own and continuously improve SIEM correlation rules, detection logic, use cases and alert tuning.
• Develop, maintain and enforce incident‑response playbooks, runbooks and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with DFIR specialists, delivery teams, account managers and customer stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in SOC operations or Incident Response.
• Proven leadership experience managing SOC analysts (L1‑L3).
• Strong analytical mindset with a hands‑on approach to investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
