Software Development Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a talented Software Development Specialist to join a leading Ministry in the UAE. You will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise‑grade applications that support large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and digital solutions.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective system designs.
• Develop and integrate applications using modern programming languages, APIs, frameworks, and databases.
• Troubleshoot application issues, implement enhancements, and provide technical support.
• Prepare technical documentation while ensuring compliance with coding, security, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business users, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Strong experience in application development, databases, APIs, system integration and software testing.
• Experience working with UAE government entities or large enterprise organisations is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate.
