Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the JW Marriott spa in Business Bay, Dubai. You will ensure smooth scheduling, welcoming service, and accurate handling of payments while promoting the spa’s offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule individual and group spa services using the reservation software.
• Call guests to confirm appointments and answer service‑related questions.
• Update reservations and cancellations throughout the day and inform providers of any changes.
• Check‑in guests, verify identity, and provide a brief orientation of spa facilities.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services to maximize revenue.
• Process guest payments, obtain authorisations, and handle cash tips.
• Balance receipts, scan documents, and forward them to Accounting.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licence or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa/salon reservation software.
