Spa Therapist

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown in Dubai is seeking a Spa Therapist to join its Spa & Wellness team. The successful candidate will deliver a range of spa treatments to guests, ensuring the highest standards of service, hygiene and guest comfort in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all spa treatments according to training and brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across treatment rooms, reception, retail, pantry, lounges and thermal facilities.
• Manage appointment schedules, ensure guest comfort and interact courteously with guests.
• Report faulty equipment, maintain inventory of supplies and support events and demonstrations.
• Adhere to corporate policies, SOPs, LQE and Forbes standards, and act as a hotel ambassador.

Required profile

• Senior school qualification; beauty school graduate preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Spa Therapist or Beautician.
• Experience in 5‑star hotels or the Middle East is an advantage.
• Clear English communication (verbal and written) and good computer skills.

Required skills

• CIBTAC certification (or equivalent).
• CIDESCO certification (advantageous).
• Computer skills for scheduling and inventory management.
