Specialist – Drilling (Cementing II) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a Specialist in Drilling (Cementing II) to lead and manage lump‑sum turnkey campaigns, unconventional drilling and testing activities such as UBD, MLT and multi‑stage fracturing. The role oversees project cost control, rig scheduling and ensures alignment with the Biogenic Shallow Gas project plan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Drilling Integrated Project Management teams and coordinate service companies to execute Biogenic Gas wells.
• Approve drilling programs, well plans and AFE for assigned wells and define full field development plans in collaboration with petroleum, reservoir and petrophysics engineers.
• Monitor and report drilling and well‑operations activities, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with HSE and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling/workover engineering and operations, including offshore and on‑shore exposure.
• Previous experience with UAE OPCOs and familiarity with new drilling technologies (UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD).
