Specialist Endpoint Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Endpoint Engineer is responsible for protecting the organization’s endpoint estate. Working closely with the SOC and Incident Response teams, you will monitor Trend Micro AV/XDR detections, triage malware, and execute containment actions across Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Trend Micro AV/XDR alerts, validate detections, and assess severity.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk cases to L2/L3 specialists.
• Identify recurring threats and anomalous endpoint behavior.
• Assist in scheduling, deploying, and validating OS patches and security updates for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Execute containment actions such as network isolation, process termination, account disablement, and token revocation under SOC guidance.
• Track agent connectivity, signature versions, and compliance posture.
• Log incidents, update ITSM tickets accurately, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in endpoint engineering or security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
