Senior Business Analyst – Back‑Office Systems (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis and requirements gathering across multiple stakeholder groups, including IT, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations and Business Departments. The role focuses on evaluating the current legacy back‑office solution used by Retail Brokerage, Institutional Brokerage, Market Making/Liquidity Providing and Asset Management, and aligning it with the company’s future strategy and product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse detailed requirements for the existing back‑office solution across all business lines.
• Conduct comprehensive GAP analysis to identify mismatches between current capabilities and future strategic objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to system features, architecture, hardware and business processes, emphasizing automation.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents, detailing system features, configurations and proposed enhancements.
• Collaborate with business units, IT and vendors to create detailed system specifications and support UAT execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in financial services, specifically with back‑office systems in brokerage, investment banking or capital markets environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JIRA (Epics, Stories) for requirements management.
• Experience using SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong SQL query skills for data analysis.
• Familiarity with BPM tools such as Bizagi and MS Visio.
• Ability to perform detailed data analysis and support UAT activities.
