About the role
KBR’s Abu Dhabi team is hiring a Specialist Engineer for construction‑mechanical activities in a fabrication yard supporting an offshore PMC project. The role will be based in the Fabrication Yard office in Abu Dhabi (or Dubai) and will focus on overseeing yard operations, ensuring compliance with specifications, and driving safe, on‑time delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise fabrication yard activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture within the fabrication yard.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
- Support project execution by ensuring timely completion of fabrication, assembly, and pre‑commissioning activities.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in construction‑mechanical roles within the oil & gas industry.
