Specialist Engineer – Material & Corrosion (Offshore Wellhead, Subsea Cable & Piping)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist Engineer in Material & Corrosion to support an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on engineering solutions for wellhead towers, subsea cable systems and piping, contributing to the delivery of high‑value FEED/EPC contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide material selection and corrosion control expertise for offshore wellhead (WHT) systems.
• Develop and review specifications for subsea cable and piping installations.
• Support detailed engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project standards and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience on offshore projects, including wellhead tower and subsea cable/piping specifications.
• Experience on mega FEED/EPC projects exceeding US$1 billion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
